Congress’s failure to pass an energy/climate bill is bad news for all of us.

I still do not like Thomas Friedman. Cap and trade is far too complex.

Put a tax on all fossil carbon. About $.80/ lb. should do it.

People will get enormously clever to dodge a stiff tax.

In the process we will heal the national finances.
