Climate Bill Out With a Whimper

With the Senate abandoning the fight for meaningful energy and climate legislation, there is no chance for a new bill unless President Obama comes out fighting.

The Moneyed interests in the world do not want to change the way things work.

Obama is wise to abandon a poisoned effort. After the November election there may be a chance to fix our energy problems. The Republicans are incapable of seeing the national interest. It is our work to re-educate them. That has a familiar ring. Guard towers and razor wire should be part of it.
