Beyond Corn on the Cob

Farmstand sweet corn stars in an Indian-spiced corn soup and jalapeƱo muffins.

There is no beyond corn on the cob.
The corn must be as close to just picked as possible.
The butter must be new and cultured.
Kosher salt is good.
Four minutes in water at a rolling boil is enough for husked ears.
Eat hot.
Fresh pepper does not hurt.

The other dishes are for leftovers.
