Small Knives, Small Risk? Not Everyone Thinks So

Flight attendants and pilots criticized the agency’s easing of rules governing carry-on items.

I would rather see a way to transport pocket furniture.
I do not need a knife on the flight but I find it very easy to
neglect to remove habitual tools.
Put them in an envelope and transport them in the cockpit.
Or have prepaid envelopes available at security to mail them home.

Q&A: Playing DVD Movies in Windows 8

Windows 8 does not include its own software for playing DVD movies, but several alternatives are available.
Computers and the Internet; DVD (Digital Versatile Disc); Movies; Software; Windows (Operating System);

"If you bought a new computer with both a DVD drive and Windows 8 preinstalled, see if the manufacturer included a program for handling DVDs. If not, VideoLAN’s open-source software, VLC media player, can play DVD movies. The program can be downloaded free, but the developers include a link to make a small donation if you would like to help out."

The problem I have with DVDs is finding one I want to watch.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoLAN      Looks promising.
Bookmarked.
