  I am having trouble parsing the connection.
  The nineteenth century competition in hats for church has little to do with this outburst.  It has everything to do with release from winter.

  MMA is a game.
  As a game it has rules.
  In regulated contests there are set victory conditions.
  The victory conditions do not include the death or even the destruction of the opposition.
  The military teaches no such limits.
  Destruction is preferred to death because casualties require care in modern societies. Many more people are removed from the contest.
  The ring or the cage is no shelter for veterans.
  Their training does not include victory conditions. 
   
  My victory conditions are met.
  I can see no way to help you to yours.
  I would help in any way I can.
  Sooner is better. - - As soon as you can is best.
