The Sizzle Factor for a Restless Climate
“The Sizzle Factor for a Restless Climate - http://nyti.ms/oRdMgm”This we know. I would not see the end of our civilization. I do not think we will be allowed to freeze people in the dark or to drown everything less than twenty feet above mean high tide. This means we will build nuclear power plants.Such plants must be safe and operable under disaster conditions. The engineering and political design must start now or sooner.

Banking Rules Are in the Interest of Americans - Room for Debate
The real need for capital requirements arises from the social costs that a banking crisis can impose.Agreed.Jamie Dimon can see that more required capital means fewer smaller fees for his bank. He will not make his bonus that way.

Failure Seen in Putin's Latest Move
I am going to have to put more thought toward Russia.
Putin cannot hold the operation of a large and diverse state in his head.
He must delegate. Those semi-independent fifes will be his destruction.
All of them will have the succession and usurpation problems he has.
The state security apparatus is the key. At this point it has no orthodoxy. -
