The trouble with a walk in tub is the seal on the gate.

I would not trust one here or anywhere that lacked a floor drain.

The nursing home arrangement is a very large shower that can be entered in a wheel chair.  Even so attendants are provided.

An in-floor hot tub could easily be provided with an overhead lift.

If we are to be that generous with space an in floor tub could be equipped with grab rails and side steps.

Joining a club or the Y and using the sauna or steam room is a practical expedient for the mobile.

Bringing in a home health aid two days a week is perhaps the most practical expedient.

Here we have a plastic stool and a hand held shower.  I must find a longer hose for that.  I will start at the plumbing supply.  A job for the morrow.

Getting over the side of the tub is not a big problem.  Getting up from the bottom of it is.

Mostly I just worry.

The demand for health-care professionals is over sold.
My sources tell me that the competition is Philippinoes  on temporary visas.
An RN is a four year degree.  A NP is an RN with a masters plus.  Med School is . . . prohibitive.
