Once you find them, you can follow people, places and things on the visual social network.

Twitter, LinkedIn and other networks, Instagram has a search function
you can use to look for acquaintances other than those you already have
on Facebook (which owns Instagram, hence the social synergy). Tap the
magnifying glass in the Instagram tool bar to go to the search page, where you can seek out specific people, hashtags or places that match your keywords. The search page also lists so-called top accounts in the results."
