Not since the Reagan administration has Washington moved so quickly to nullify so many federal regulations.

The Koch brothers are mistaken.
Carbon extraction is primarily limited by economics.
Profits on fracking and mining went negative.
The energy companies were "losing money on every sale and hoping to make it up on volume".

Much of the variety in the bills of today’s birds evolved long ago, very quickly, a study found, yet bill evolution didn’t slow down over time.

There is a presumption of progress in this work that is not justified.
The rate of evolution is meaningless.
It is set by the lengths of generations and the mutation rate
working against "natural selection".
