Detroit Eligible for Bankruptcy Protection, Judge Rules

Judge Steven W. Rhodes said Detroit could move forward with its
financial reorganization, making the city the largest American
municipality to qualify for bankruptcy protection.
Pensions and other benefits are on the block.
