Instead of making undercover investigation of
animal abuses in factory farms a crime, we need laws that guarantee our
right to know how our food is being produced.

Such are inherently faulty.
The present situation cannot continue.

Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana announced that he
would shelve a plan to get rid of state income and corporate taxes,
saying that he was listening to those who had expressed concerns.

If he were to institute his tax program the economy of the state would halt.
We can wish him a single term governor. I do not hold much hope of that.
