The Ingenuity of Our Species - Room for Debate
“The Ingenuity of Our Species - Room for Debate - http://nyti.ms/iqhIN6 All 6 are worth reading. ”
Our planet has more people on it than it can support for long.
      Many will have to die.
      Very few will volunteer.
We are OK for the time being.

    Neat gadget.
    You could find it useful.
Privacy will continue to be a problem.
Radio controlled aircraft are an old technology.
Scary names are a big problem.

      Snooki’s Time on ‘Jersey Shore’
With her signature pouf, dark tan and glitter, the breakout star of “Jersey Shore” seems to provoke everybody’s opinion.
I read the review.  I have never seen the show.
      I have met the type.

Does IMF Stand for Impressive Macroeconomic Flexibility?
So the IMF is holding a meeting on rethinking macroeconomic policy (I was invited but couldn’t make the timing work.) And the Fund’s chief economist has already made it clear that he’s open to some serious revision of the prevailing paradigm.

      http://hat4uk.wordpress.com/2012/02/22/slog-prediction-vindicated-as-fitch-downgrades-greece-to-call-default-on-bond-swap/

This seems to be the situation in Greece:  They will be in default if they attempt to execute the plan in hand.  If they do not execute it they will be in deeper default but better circumstances.

In Florida a home is part of the shielded property in a bankruptcy.
Here the banks are advising  a homeowner headed for bankruptcy for other reasons to sell his house to delay the event for a month.
He then will be homeless but the banks loss will be less.

The Greeks will suffer soon enough.  The banks are advising them to suffer sooner and more so the bankers can collect another bonus.
