The Biden administration is inheriting the menace of Chinese antisatellite arms as well as an innovative way of trying to defuse the escalating threat.
 
There is no way to "Beat the Chinese" by direct action.
The U.S. can destroy their orbital projects as they can destroy ours.
Cyber war will continue and everyone will harden their systems.  Running backups that are air gapped and encrypted.  The U.S. must support the laboratories and development shops.  Know that if it can be done here soon it can be done there.
Diplomacy must manage the direct action groups.
William J. Broad has a simplistic view of all the world.  It is all dynamic.
"One must run as fast as one can tostay in the same place."
