There are several sugars.
One, fructose, is a liver toxin.
Half of table sugar is fructose.
High fructose corn syrup is fifty five percent fructose.
Not much different from table sugar.
The fiber in whole fruit helps the gut deal with fructose I am told.
Glucose is a necessary nutrient. It is a sugar.
