Birth Control Pills Still Linked to Breast Cancer, Study Finds

Women using birth control pills and I.U.D.s that release hormones face a higher risk than those using methods without hormones, scientists in Denmark reported.

Lower risk is not risk free.

I saw no correction for lifestyle.

The fact that the increased risk was not reduced by new formulations indicates that the increase is independent of the formulation and possibly of the hormones.

There is a group that is motivated to find problems with birth control.

The Republic Will Survive the Tax Bill

Yes, it’s dreadful policy. But it will be easier to reverse than other Trump priorities.

" (and, no, the bill does not stealthily repeal Obamacare)"
A lie.  The bill ends the mandate that controls insurance costs.  Unaffordable insurance is no insurance.

Trickle down does not happen with money.

‘I’d Never Seen My Fears as an African-American Man Onscreen’

Jordan Peele, writer-director of “Get Out,” says his own concerns almost prevented it from being made. Now prize givers love it. Will the academy agree?

Quite possibly.

Liberals Need to Take Their Fingers Out of Their Ears

Many Democrats continue to have little understanding of their own role in creating the conditions that make conservatives willing to support Trump.

Hearing the words will not change the facts.
