Europe’s Tough Case Against Google

It won’t be easy to show that Google’s tactic actually hurt consumers by limiting their choices.
Antitrust Laws and Competition Issues; Computers and the Internet

Margrethe Vestager must tell Google and the world what is bothering her.
Until she does the story is spreading "FUD". (Fear, Uncertainty and Dread as a marketing tool.)

Yahoo and Microsoft Revise 10-Year Search Partnership

Under the new agreement, Yahoo will be allowed to deliver its own search results and ads for up to half the searches made by visitors to its sites and apps.

"Ms. Mayer and Microsoft’s chief executive, Satya Nadella, were both personally involved in the negotiations. Microsoft has poured billions of dollars into search, and Mr. Nadella is committed to remaining in the business. Microsoft was a primary agitator behind the European Commission’s decision on Wednesday to bring antitrust charges against Google, accusing the company of abusing its dominance in search to hurt consumers and competitors."

E.U.’s Google Case May Be Undercut by Rapid Shifts in Tech

As the antitrust case against Microsoft showed, the giants that look most unbeatable can falter in ways that have nothing to do with the actions of government regulators.
