There is no reasonable compromise.
There is no total safety.
The criterion should be "informed consent".
The things we use should not surprise us with our deaths and disabilities.
There are no external costs.
People should not burden others by their actions without consent.
The E.P.A. should examine the output of industry and work toward an end to surprises.
The purpose of government is the maintenance of the common.
