"Donald Trump has started his visit to Ireland by comparing its post-Brexit border with Northern Ireland to the US border with Mexico, along which he wants to build a permanent wall."
Britain has the choice of letting Northern Ireland go or having a hard border.

Homelessness And Poverty Are Policy Choices
The issue is simple enough. There are more empty homes than homeless. For
example, New York: In NYC, 250k apartments sit empty—78k are seasonally or
temporarily occupied. It’s hard to get an exact number of homeless
individuals, but over the course 2018, 133k individuals slept in the city’s
municipal shelter system. Housing stock isn’t the […]
I do not know how to make a home affordable twice.
The number of homeless is the number of homeless who can travel to the city.

Quick comparison of ADP, ISM Non-Mfg Employment Index and BLS Report for the Month of May
The ADP employment report was weak this month with just 27,000 jobs added.
In general, the ADP report hasn't been very useful in predicting the BLS
report for any one month, but this does suggest some downside risk to the
May employment report to be released on Friday.
However, the ISM non-manufacturing report suggested solid employment growth
in May. So I thought I'd look back at the three previous years and compare
the ADP and ISM reports to the BLS report.
In May 2018, the BLS reported 223,000 jobs added (218,000 private sector
jobs added). The ADP report showed 178,000 jobs add... more »

Mexico’s Top Diplomat to Meet With Pence in Effort to Avoid Trump Tariffs
Marcelo Ebrard, the Mexican foreign minister, has been meeting with
Washington officials all week as Mexico tries to head off President Trump’s

Immigration discussions at the White House with representatives of Mexico have ended for the day. Progress is being made, but not nearly enough! Border arrests for May are at 133,000 because of Mexico & the Democrats in Congress refusing to budge on immigration reform. Further...
....talks with Mexico will resume tomorrow with the understanding that, if no agreement is reached, Tariffs at the 5% level will begin on Monday, with monthly increases as per schedule. The higher the Tariffs go, the higher the number of companies that will move back to the USA!
I doubt it will work.
