An Irish Mirror

In our country, bank regulators held seminars in which they held up giant scissors and cut up gobs of red tape- chanting: go, go, go i.e. lend. Wall street investment banking products are essentially unregulated. The President's bully pulpit has been the historic restraint. But Bush urged: go, go, go! Why? ideology? hardly. We conservatives are raised to pinch pennies. POLITICS! A revved-up economy supports incumbents! in Bush's defense, he probably didn't have a clue. Incurious George didn't ask many questions. And his mentor, Rove was a brilliant politician, but hardly an economist. And the ensuing depression was totally predictable. Too bad. And now Rove has the balls to blame Obama! That's politics.

Not enough.

Fix it.

Blame is the last thing we need to assign.

We can blame when things work.
