U.S. Plans Big Expansion in Effort to Aid Homeowners

As a responsible citizen with a Master's degree and 20 plus years of corporate experience, let me assure modification program bashers that there are millions of unemployed Americans like myself that have suffered as a result of deregulation, Wall Street greed and now a so called economic recovery that is jobless. I've paid my mortgage on time for 20 years but have exhausted savings due to extended unemployment. I sought a modification from GMAC and received a generous modification offer to maintain my existing monthly payment along with the first 4 months requiring higher payments to cover missed payments. Where is my piece of the $500 billion TARP handed out to irresponsible corporations that should have declared bankruptcy?
