Haiti’s Misery

The emergency in Haiti isn’t over. It’s getting worse, as the outside world’s attention fades away.

What is to be done:

Withdraw the US presence. Haiti does not need more troops.

Pay the police. Just pay them. Trying to enforce behavior is impossible and unnecessary. The population will kill the bent ones.

Supply unlimited building materials as a free gift. Let that be known broadly.

I expect monopolists will not survive.

let the owners build as they will.

Supply earthquake resistant standards in patois(the language of the country)

supply unlimited food and water and motor fuel.

When the emergency is over, stop.
