Breaking With Scientology

Too bad. I always thought science fiction and religion were perfectly suited for one another.

Scientology is another artificial cult. L. Ron Hubbard Wanted to write fiction.

He found he could not write salable prose. For revenge on John W. Cambel, an editor, he composed a con he called Scientology. It escaped him and eventually he ran from it. He took the treasury with him.

No loss. Sciencefiction and religeon are closely related. As a reader of sciencefiction I know that it is fiction and genure fiction at that. Religeon does not recognise its fictional nature.
