We need to evaluate whether new drugs are really worthwhile, because the costs are widely, although perhaps invisibly, shared.The price of medication must be questioned.
This is the wrong view of insurance.
The market for these high priced medications is limited.
If it were larger a generic would solve the problem.
As things stand the price is protected by the low volume of sales and the cost of setting up production.
India and China would make the drugs if they could profit.
