Scientists Taking Steps to Defend Work on Climate

Can you just imagine if the global warming critics had been found to have doctored data or been shown to have skewed data to suit their agenda how the media would have been apoplectic? There are two sides to this issue. Not whether climate is changing, as I am sure most thoughtful people would agree is happening, but whether humans are to blame for it and whether we can or should do something to reverse it. And like most controversial issues, there are crazies on both sides. It is incumbent on the scientific community to ensure they do not get into bed with either of the radical fringes.

As it happens the global warming critics have been caught doctoring the data.

There has been no apoplexy in the media.

Human causality for climate change is very nearly conclusive.

The remaining question is how wet do we want to get? Or what are the coastal cities worth to the world?

The events will not be sudden. There will be lots of survivors.
