Michigan: Detroit Teachers Seek End to Control by Emergency Manager

The Detroit teachers’ union filed a lawsuit Thursday against the district calling for repairing “deplorable” conditions and removing the state-appointed emergency manager, Darnell Earley.

If Detroit can do its duty by its children the matter should end.

With seven confirmed cases in the state, including three in the city, health administrators announced plans to prevent the virus from spreading.

"Dr. Bassett said there was virtually no risk of someone contracting the mosquito-borne virus in the city at this time, because the mosquito season in New York does not begin until April, and because the species spreading the disease does not live in the region."

I doubt the link between microcephaly and Zika virus.
