This weeks properties are in the East Village, Chelsea and Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.

I can build anything but location.

I would have south facing glass in the eat-in kitchen and great room.
The master suite can face east. The study faces north.
A porch on the west?
A second suite upstairs and a spare room that shares the upstairs bath.

Atlanta Begins Charging for a Streetcar Named Undesirable by Some

In the streetcar system’s first year, residents often described it as somewhere between disastrous and vaguely satisfactory. And that was when it was free.

There is no room in a city for cars.
The system is too small.
It should service the metro area.
The streetcars should have the right of way.

Stalled Brooklyn Park Exposes Rift With Religious Group

Bridge Park 2 in Dumbo, Brooklyn, has remained in sorry shape for years. Depending on whom you ask, the fault lies with flawed zoning, communication breakdowns or the Jehovah’s Witnesses, who promised to fix it but never did.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses moved in to proselytize the lower Bowery.
The bums are gone. There is no reason for the Watchtower to remain.
