A judge on Monday again denied a request by the Detroit Public Schools to obtain a temporary restraining order for teacher “sickouts” that have closed dozens of buildings this month.

Detroit Public Schools picked the wrong judge.
It is difficult to prosecute a sickout.
The schools are starved of resources.
