Two bond insurers sued Puerto Rico on Thursday over missed payments, and Governor Alejandro García Padilla again asked Congress for bankruptcy access.

"Democratic members of Congress have favored a bankruptcy law for Puerto Rico, but the Republicans who hold the majority in both houses have generally said they need more financial information first."

Moral hazard.

Review: At Savannah’s Southern House, Thinking Outside the Skillet

At Savannah’s in Cortlandt Manor, many entrees are available in half portions, a mercy that the prudent might consider if desserts figure into the plan.

My choice would be to avoid Savannah.
I have not had good luck with restaurants in the South.

Behind the Oregon Standoff, You’ll Find Big Questions About Democracy

America’s long history of land disputes is where deep questions — like what our nation is ultimately for — turn suddenly concrete.

The question is one of land title and taxes or, if you prefer,
