The current race for mayor, between a Latino Democrat and a
business-oriented Republican, is in many ways a fight for San Diego’s
political soul.
Elections, Mayors; Hispanic-Americans; Organized Labor
If I had a vote in this contest I would vote for the Democrat.
The Republican way has not worked. It is time to try an alternative.

winter weather and rains last year that led to higher demand from
farmers.

This is not a problem of production but of transport.
"Energy experts are also struggling for answers about why the system of
supply truckers and pipelines to deliver propane broke down so badly for
the rural homeowners who depend on it for portable electrical
generation and home heating."
Demand exceeds capacity. The price has risen to limit demand.
If higher prices persist supply will be increased.
