Tara Reade's Allegation Is Against Biden, but the Burden Is on Women

Jessica Bennett and Lisa Lerer at NYT > U.S. > Politics - 2 hours ago
Even with the progress of #MeToo, women are called upon to defend their male colleagues. In the 2020 election, that can mean putting the movement itself on the line.

I have had to think.
Like all others I find it difficult.
The Republican planners find the Tara Reade accusation convenient.
No testimony by Joe Biden will clear his name.
A record does not appear to exist.
Proving a negative is not possible.
The shadow of doubt will continue.

Joe Biden is not Donald J. Trump.
In the final analysis that is all that matters.

Biden will not re-subjugate women.
He will restart the the presumption of innocence.

Let us do the same for the Eve of Genesis.
