any government.  Abraham Lincoln and U.S. Grant achieved the near impossible feat of reconstructing The Union.

Their compromises have been failing for a century.
Trump and company do not understand that their triumph will kill the living constitution that has grown around the document.

The distant end of the habitable world must not be allowed to end the habitable nation in the near future.

The Democrats are correct to campaign on immediate issues.
They must win for there to be any hope of long term survival for humanity.
