Selling Air (a.k.a. the Idea They Thought of Next)

Sales of air from places like the Canadian Rockies, an Australian beach and, yes, Wales are taking off in smoggy environments like China.

Buy the air wholesale as an oxygen concentrator.

The Philippine president’s anti-American vitriol might have paid off in the South China

‘Insecure,’ Season 1, Episode 4: Career Day

Issa and Molly face a divide between the life they dream of and the life they actually lead.

Witchcraft on the Campaign Trail

It’s 2016, but people still seem to believe Hillary Clinton practices the dark arts.

Where’s the Love for Donkeys?

Two Candidates, Two Approaches to Fixing the Student Debt Problem

The challenge of making college affordable is front and center on the political stage. Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton have different philosophies of government to reduce the burden.

As long as Republicans control spending tuition will not go down.

State colleges should be state supported.
Tuition began to be charged to limit demand.
State legislatures found that colleges could be self supporting.
State support became minimal.

I am sure there is an optimum size for a college.
It may be the size of a lecture hall.

The Food Pantry Where Black Voters Seek Refuge From Donald Trump

The struggling African-Americans who visit a Philadelphia food pantry recoil at Mr. Trump’s appeals to voters hit hard by economic troubles.

A man on a white horse cannot fix the world economy.

Food, clothing and shelter are basic.  Community is another essential.

Michael Golden, Vice Chairman of Times Co., to Retire

Mr. Golden will retire from his executive management role, but he will continue to serve on the board.

I do not understand the politics of the change.
He seems to have lost his subordinates.
