New York City Seeks to Put Names to Unidentified Bodies

A New York City Missing Persons Day, held by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, was an effort to identify 1,200 unidentified bodies the city has buried.
Missing Persons; DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid)

I remember that potter's field is recycled every twenty five years.
The oldest of these unidentified bodies are about to loose their locations.

DNA identification is as positive as possible.

"Allele - A different form of a gene at a particular locus. The characteristics of a single copy of a specific gene or of a single copy of a specific location on a chromosome. For example, one copy of a specific STR region might have 10 repeats, while the other copy might have 11 repeats. These would represent two alleles of that STR region."

"At the press conference, Murillo Karam showed a video re-enactment of how the bodies were transported.[136] He also included several video interrogations from the suspects, and showed a video of the teeth and bones recovered at the site.[137] He said that the remains were badly burned and that that would make DNA identification difficult. In order to properly identify the remains, the federal government turned to world-class forensic lab specialists from the University of Innsbruck in Austria for help, though he said there was not a definite timeframe for the results.[138] The families of the students, however, did not accept the statements of the Attorney General and believe that their children are still alive. They stated that they will not accept that their children are dead until it is proven scientifically from independent investigators, given that they fear that the government is attempting to close the case in order to clamp down public outrage.[139] Murillo Karam stated that 74 people were arrested since the case started and that 10 others had arrest warrants.[140] Until the situation of the students is confirmed, he said, the case remains open and the government formally considers the students "disappeared."[141]"

As long as we do not have sufficient energy storage we must have backup generation.
