Europe is suffering from a failure of economic demand.
There is not enough spending to support the necessary demand. This is what deflation means. Supply will be the problem wilh a Russian cutoff of the gas pipelines.
The demand for gas is elastic. Rise in price will cut consumption and increase production, mostly through imports. Quiet in North Africa would become much more important.
