In Letter to Amtrak, Christie Says N.J. Transit Will Halt Payments

In a separate letter, Gov. Chris Christie also asked his attorney general to consider “appropriate legal action” to recover millions that New Jersey Transit had paid to Amtrak.

Evicting N.J. Transit would mean a federal takeover or a cancellation of its use of the tracks.
There will be a court case and the fares will go up.
