North Korea Said to Be Target of Inquiry Over $81 Million Cyberheist

Federal prosecutors are investigating the extent of the North Korean government’s role in the attack that swiped $81 million from the Bangladesh central bank.

"North Korea’s involvement in the attack on the Bangladesh bank had not been publicly known until The New York Times reported last May that security researchers had found evidence that pointed to the country. The researchers discovered that a rare piece of code used in the theft had also been used in the hacking attack on Sony Pictures in December 2014."

There is not enough evidence in this report for a warrant.

Code is a computer file.  It may indicate who wrote it.
Code does not indicate who or what executed it
The onion router blocks tracing code and commands to their source.

The New York Federal Reserve Bank is responsible for this theft as a co-conspirator.
