She was not a maker of images I know. Still, a good eye is a real loss. I will look for her book.
Bob Herbert preaches to the quire. There is a lot of that going on. Two different quires.
He gives a good account.
Looking forward to the next column.
Trees are not sacred. They grow and they die. A century is a very short time.
Now at 5 or six centuries most native species are mature and becoming specimens. That is about when they get labelled old growth.

    The Grand Illusion

Some seats will change party control, but a landslide midterm election is hardly certain, particularly if Democrats can change their tune and energize their base.

Charles Blow delivers a pep talk. I need that.

I do not need to add to the buzz.
This is not the way I want to spend my time. I plan to make simple objects at a rate of about one a day. When I get a hit I will hire some staff and go into production. Ceramics take several days but not much attention. I will have to do some time budgeting. I do not plan to start before 8:00 or stay in the studio past 5:00. 9 hour days with breaks is about right. Other media can provide the necessary changes.
indeed.

    Tax Debate Concerns Small Businesses

More than 95 percent of businesses owners do not earn enough to be subject to the higher rates, and many of the businesses that would be affected have no employees.

Republicans scream so dependably. Start-ups hire. established businesses do not.
Let's keep the Saudis dependent.
I will be sorry to miss them. I hope both make it to Youtube.
If things work -properly, none of them will be contenders.
