A Monument to Tolerance at Ground Zero

New York City’s Landmarks Preservation Commission voted 9 to 0 to reaffirm one of the basic tenets of democracy: religious tolerance.

Amazing how people hear what they want to hear rather than what was said. Me among them.

Religious tolerance is not a principle of democracy but a default position. There was no agreement as to who was correct so there was a decision for personal determination. I think they did well.
