Specter Defeat Signals a Wave Against Incumbents

Most of the national pundits are missing the point of the Pa. senate race. It was not anti incumbency per se. It was a strong dislike among the rank and file Democrats for Specter. You can't be a snarling Republican for 30 years and then expect Democrats to fall all over themselves for you.

Republican hope may yet be dashed.
