Growth of Unpaid Internships May Be Illegal, Officials Say
Oh for heaven's sake. If my son takes an unpaid internship, does well, gets wonderful recommendations from the firm, and those recommendation help him get a good job, and if, during this time, my husband and I have to work overtime to support him, which is what we WANT to do, what's the problem? Why do they want to make it harder and harder for people to succeed by working and sacrificing, while they are bailing out those who aren't and didn't?
The woman who wrote this can't read. I find that surprising because it is written. I would think any one illiterate could not set up dictation software. Much less spell check the result.
Perhaps I am being too harsh. She may have believed her heart rather than her eyes and not bothered to read the article.
In any case let me inform her that black is not white nor is white black. She seems to be confused.
I see that other commenters do understand so it is not I that have missed the point.
