The low cost of Chinese goods is a temporary condition.  It may endure another twenty years.
As change slows with the limits of the physical world automation will drop the demand for manual labor.
Empowered labor will insist on living wages and demographic collapse will limit the entering cohorts.
When goods flow is into China the rails will connect.
