She’s 91 and Is Being Kicked Out of Her Apartment

Dozens of residents of an independent living community in Manhattan — some as old as 99 — are being forced out of the homes they thought they’d die in.

I am more than a little aware of the problem.
Rising rent without rising income is a trap.
The money is inflating but social security payments are not allowed to track the rising prices.
I must invest my capital soon and pay my rent to the state as taxes.
