    Newt Gingrich is more unbridled than ever. This is what passes for intellectualism on the right?

Wash that mouth with soap. Intellectualism is a foul concept for that group.
Most of us don't care as long as the care is good. How can we know? Opinions vary. Past payment and future payment both matter. The safe and effective doctrine of the FDA looks good to me. Let us have more of it.

 This is just not important. Civil rights became the accepted way. The people who died were not assassinated by the FBI. He sent no one to jail, ruined no lives and made the photographic record of the time and place. I wish I could say as much.

The real problem is the requirement for a zero failure rate. If we could ruin some children we could make real progress in learning effective education methods. As things stand we must apply the best practices model. The education that the children receive will be one that is generally recognised as good. The best is not that.
