At the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, Loss and Tension

The 19 who carried out the attack were convinced that they were not assaulting believers like themselves or "people of the book" who are to be given tolerance but heathen agents chaos.
My problem is that they were almost correct.
If I were to broadcast this view it would get me lynched.
My patriotism bristles that they did it but I find that I can easily understand their motivations.
The only heroism I can find in the whole incident are those very few who lead escapes from above the crash levels.
The first responders and you are truly admirable. I simply cannot make mercenaries heroic in doing what they are paid to do. Your team and the other volunteers at the scene before it was clear that there were no injured survivors do deserve their honors.
