A Real Debate on Taxes

Americans need to hear a serious debate about how to meet the fiscal challenges of supporting a weak economy and taming the budget deficit.

The editorial makes a case. We could be much more extreme and place a real graduated income tax with an eighty percent top bracket and a floor at about thirty thousand. The dollar is not a dollar any more.
