David Leonhardt makes a very good case that the sexual inequality that he sees is the echo of the fiduciary responsibility of corporate management.
I am not at all sure that I want to change that. Perhapse if managers could learn to judge on the basis of quality of work rather than apparent primary loyalty. Hours on site is such an easy thing to measure.
