Anthony Weiner: Why I Was Angry

Republican obstruction of a 9/11 bill was an occasion for anger, and Democrats should show more of it.

The Congress of the United States exists to play politics. Objecting when it does its job is futile.

The proper response is to politic them right back. If you lack the votes, Go and get them. If you lack the skills there are coaches who will educate. If you lack the killer drive you should step down and pass the baton to another.

Those of us who watch from the sidelines and cheer enjoy the spectacle. We vote in all the elections.
