As such it is user controlled. Meaning The user can know as much of the system as he wishes to learn. With that knowledge modification of any and all portions of the system are possible. There are very clever people writing code and passing it out.

Their time is paid for by their employers who want to use the code. If others use the code, That part of the knowledge base becomes more polished and any errors are more quickly discovered and repaired. New problems are the business of those who want to solve them. Security is everyone's concern. systems are secure against those without permission. As the system root user, the owner has god like power in the system. As an ordinary user, the owner has only ordinary power. That can change.
