I am not fond of television. I find it information light and bandwidth heavy. the old line production houses are excessively worried about intellectual property. Things must change before a revolution can be fomented. Given the change, There will be a screen and a touch screen. Control will be through the touch screen by tap drag and drop. there will be multiple DVRs, independently programmable for time and program. Icons will be animated and show thumbnails of the programs. Streaming will probably not be real time. Broadcast will be real time. Time shifting will be allowed. sound track and captioning will be adjustable and graceful.
