Promise Seen for Detection of Alzheimer’s
If one company’s findings hold up, doctors would for the first time have a reliable way to diagnose Alzheimer’s in patients with memory problems.
She is sharp when awake. She can't hear in the female range. She can't see to pass the dmv test. Does not wear her specs by habit. Watches pbs from the financial report on, Has always been hand confused and innumerate. She is confused by her medications. The neurologist did not find significant impairment.
Alzheimer's is a really nasty way to go. The victim remembers enough to know what is being lost. After speech, swallowing goes and the end comes with inhalational pneumonia.
I want a DNR.
I want Hospice care.
I do not want to have to do it myself but life extension past joy and hope of recovery is cruelty.
